Mestizzaje nació en el 2014 con el propósito de fortalecer y difundir las fuentes sonoras musicales colombianas. El ensamble cuenta con instrumentos folclóricos como la Marimba de Chonta, el tambor alegre, la gaita hembra del Caribe fusionados con instrumentos universales como la guitarra eléctrica, el Contrabajo, la batería, las Congas, la trompeta y el saxofón tenor. En los 6 años de trayectoria hemos tenido la oportunidad de compartir cartelera con artistas de talla nacional e internacional.
Mestizzaje was born in 2014 with the purpose of strengthening and disseminating Colombian musical sound sources. The ensemble features folk instruments such as the Marimba de Chonta, the drum alegre, the female Caribbean bagpipe fused with universal instruments such as the electric guitar, the Contrabass, the drums, the Congas, the trumpet, and the tenor saxophone. In the 6 years of history, we have had the opportunity to share the billboard with artists of national and international stature.
