Moshe Elmakias started playing the piano at the age of 6, and at the age of 13, he was already touring around the world with various bands and orchestras. Moshe won many competitions and scholarships in Israel, Italy, Switzerland, and United States. He graduated with his B.A. with honor and studied with world-famous musicians such as Jason Moran, Ethan Iverson, Eli Degibri, Frank Carlberg, and Omri Mor. From the age of 19, he was recording and performing professionally and internationally with artists such as Larry Klein (US), Manu Katche (France), Itamar Borochov (New York) Leo Espinosa (Cuba), Mor Karbasi (Israel), Tal Gamlieli (Israel) Yogev Shetrit (Israel), Niggun Quartet (Israel), and Marco Pignataro (US). These days Moshe is a student at the New England Conservatory in Boston, and he plays, records, and performs in many festivals and platforms around the world.
