Cindybet es musicoterapeuta certificada por el Certification Board of Music Therapists (CBMT) por más de 10 años, es miembro de la American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), profesora de música y especialista en educación especial y diferenciada en Puerto Rico, el estado de Florida y Alabama. En el 2019 la Dra. Pérez instituyó el programa de musicoterapia en el Centro Primario de Stroke del Hospital HIMA San Pablo de Caguas, especializándose en pacientes neurocríticos. También brinda conferencias, clases y talleres para educar sobre el uso y los beneficios de la musicoterapia a entidades profesionales, universitarias y comunitarias con miras a promover y expandir el campo de la musicoterapia en Puerto Rico.
Cindybet is a music therapist certified by the Certification Board of Music Therapists (CBMT) for more than 10 years, is a member of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), a music teacher and specialist in special and differentiated education in Puerto Rico, the state of Florida and Alabama. In 2019, Dr. Pérez instituted the music therapy program at the Primary Stroke Center of the HIMA San Pablo de Caguas Hospital, specializing in neurocritical patients. She also provides conferences, classes, and workshops to educate professional, university, and community entities about the use and benefits of music therapy with a view to promoting and expanding the field of music therapy in Puerto Rico.
