Activista comunitario y aficionado de la música Jazz. Miembro reciente del renombrado grupo JAZZ UNLIMITED de los ilustres compañeros Roberto Mariette, Basilio Wilkinson, Albert Mootoo, Reyes Coulbourne, Rolando Grannum - Q.D.E.P., y otros. Dicha organización fue la pionera en la promoción de artistas y conciertos del Jazz en Panamá. Asiduo participante en todos los Panama Jazz Festival. Ha participado en varias conferencias, presentaciones y conciertos de Jazz. Ha sido promotor de la música caribeña del instrumento del “Steel pan”, a través de varias clínicas y presentaciones en Panamá. Fue miembro directivo de la Fundación Centro George Westerman, en la Ciudad del Saber, quienes organizaron el Primer Festival de Latin Jazz en el año 2001, donde participaron del Maestro Víctor Boa; y, Gene Jeffries, Frank Anderson, etc., jazzistas panameños radicados en Nueva York, en concierto en el Hotel Continental. Es Vicepresidente de la Asociación Afrodescendientes Panameños Unidos – AAPU, organización de desarrollo comunitario con sede en el corregimiento de Río Abajo. Miembro activo del Foro Afropanameño. Participa en actividades de la Secretaría Nacional para el Desarrollo de los Afro Panameños – SENADAP. Es Ingeniero Mecánico Industrial y fue Profesor de la Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
Community activist and jazz music fan. A recent member of the renowned group JAZZ UNLIMITED of illustrious colleagues Roberto Mariette, Basilio Wilkinson, Albert Mootoo, Reyes Coulbourne, Rolando Grannum - Q.D.E.P., and others. This organization was the pioneer in promoting Jazz artists and concerts in Panama. A regular participant in all the Panama Jazz Festival. He has participated in various Jazz conferences, presentations, and concerts. He has been a promoter of the Caribbean music of the “Steelpan” instrument, through various clinics and performances in Panama. He was a directive member of the George Westerman Center Foundation, in the City of Knowledge, who organized the First Latin Jazz Festival in 2001, where the Maestro Víctor Boa participated; and Gene Jeffries, Frank Anderson, etc., Panamanian jazz players based in New York, in concert at the Continental Hotel. He is Vice President of the United Panamanian Afro-descendants Association - AAPU, a community development organization based in the Río Abajo district. An active member of the Afro-Panamanian Forum. He participates in activities of the National Secretariat for the Development of Afro Panamanians - SENADAP. He is an Industrial Mechanical Engineer and was a Professor at the Technological University of Panama.
